I just got my red sea reefer 350 deluxe today and I've run into my first problem. I have the Reef Octopus Varios 6 pump but the green tubing that comes with the aquarium setup does not fit the return nozzle that is on the pump (it is too large). I can't get a larger tube because then it wouldn't fit the red sea bulk head. Is there any way to make one end larger without downsizing the other end? Any suggestions?

How much of a difference are we talking? If you dont want to use a reducer, try heating one end in boiling (or near boiling) water then when its hot and malleable try and slip it over the larger output nozzle.

Also a great trick for removing kinks and bends in soft plastic tubing.

I went a head and did a hard plumb for the return pump.

Yes the return is the same. I can sent you some pic if you think that would help. I took the end of my pump and the end of my return pipe to a plumber supply store and the guy fitted everything together for me.
