Hello Reefer

I'm Kelvin from NYC, I'm super super excited to share my reefer journal with your guys. I'm still kind of a newbie for saltwater aquariums but I'm always willing to learn from you guys to maintain a stable aquariums. I've been researching and planning for a few weeks and I'm finally pulled the trigger and got my red sea reefer 425 XL. My tank has been set up and finished cycling with Dr TIMS bacteria in two weeks.

Current Live stock
- Two Premium black ice clown fishes
- Two Premium Snowflake clown fishes
- Two purple fire fishes
- Two cleaner shrimps and two fire shrimps
- Red leg hermit crabs and blue leg hermit crabs
-Red-Striped Trochus Snails



Aquarium

• Red Sea Reefer XL 425 with white cabinet and custom lid
• Mixed of 120 lbs live rocks
  
• 60 lbs of special grade live sand

Equipment

• Ecotech Marine M1 return pump
• Ecotech Marine MP40 x 2
• Ecotech Marine reeflink
• Ecotech Radion G4 xr 15 Pro x 3
  
• Manifold with gate valves from M1 to supply the reactors and UV sterilizer
• Replace Red Sea return nozzle with dual nozzles
• Neptune Apex 2016
• Standard Apex probes in skimmer chamber
• Reef Octopus elite 150 int protein skimmer
  
• Kessil H80 refugium light
• Aquamaxx standard Reactor x 2
• Custom acrylic protein skimmer stand and refugium box
