Hi,

I finally decided to get tank (with some help from my wife) and are planning to post it here with updates so I can get inputs and help from you guys out there. The initial dragged out a little so I'll just post what I've done so far

What I got (so far) is:
1 Tank (obviously)
5 outlet valves between pump and outlet
20 kg Indonesian cures liverock
4 bags Red sea live sand
2 Radion XR30w Gen3
1 reef link
1 Deltec skimmer
1 ecotech M1 Vectra pump
2 maxspect Gyre XF230
1 BRS Carbon reactor
1 BRS GFO reactor
1 200 w red sea heater
1 Apex

Got really busy and didn't test any water for a week. Didn't think the cycle would go so fast. Tested 16th and ammonia less than.15, nitrite 0 and Nitrate 5. Could I have missed it or has it not started yet? The guy in the shop said with live sand and cured rock it goes fast (I did added bacteria as well when I started it) I waited until 21 went to the shop with water and they tested too. Yes they said yank cycled already.

How many gallons does the tank have?

Well since tank is ready I got green light to add CUC, (also reduced the lights to 30%) felt like I went a little too much on the crew but I don't know. Maybe I should have started a little slower..
Crew :
Cleaner crew: 4 hermit crabs, 4 turbosnails, 2 sandsifting seastars , 3 margaritasnail, 2 nassariusnails, 2 fighting conchs, 1 dollabella sea hare

They eat like crazy. I love the way the nassarius snails rises from the sand.
The sea hare is so weird and ugly, I love it!

I added them 21th and they are all still happy

Following a long. My 450 is at its year mark. There are so many of these and still so many different outcomes it's nice to see where someone else's Journey takes them.

[emoji3]. Yeah every tank has its own story. It's nice to see how all different tanks grows.

Any snags on the way or anything I should think about?

Haven't started to think to much about that yet [emoji23]. Definitely corals and fish.

I have a similar dimension tank with the same lights on it.
Having done extensive PAR measurements with the APEX PAR meter, I would suggest you need a 3rd light for corals.
It will provide much better overlapping fields of fire for the photons, decreasing shadowing and hot spots.

I like the aquascape, nice job.
