I am currently putting together a fish list for my new mixed reef RS 525. I'm a bit stumped on what fish to put in the tank. This is my current list so far.

Pair of Clownfish
Melanurus Wrasse
Two Spot Bristletooth Tang

Any suggestions on other fish that would go well in the tank and what order I should introduce them?

Here is my stock list on my 525XL. Heavily stocked so I'm running an oversize skimmer and Algae turf scrubber to maintain low nutrients.

2 Black Ice clownfish

Orchid Dotty back

Mandarin

Flame Hawk

Blue throat Trigger

Male Lyretail

Female Lyretail

six line

melanarus

yellow coris

McCosker wrasse

2 Copperband butterfiles 1 RIP 6-4-20

2 Bangaii cardinals

Springer Damsel

6 green chromis 7-11-20 1 RIP

Flame Angel

Purple tang

Yellow Eye Kole tang

Molly Miller Blenny

Blue star Leopard wrasse

Leopard wrasse

Sorry for your losses! What happened to the Chromis and Copperband. :(
It happens with Chromis. Often when you have a few they will pick off the weakest or smallest. Not sure what happened with my 2nd Copperband. Was eating like a pig and doing well. Had both of them in for over 7 months and woke up to one dead. The one that died was the bigger and seemed the healthiest of the two. Who knows.

Here's my current fish list in the RSR 525XL:

Copperband Butterfly(4")
Bluestar Leopard Wrasse(3")
Magma Wrasse(3")
Melanarus Wrasse(3.5")
Pintail Wrasse(3")
Midas Blenny(3")
Yellow Belly Regal Angel(4.5")
3 Evansi Anthias(2.5")
One Spot Foxface(4")
3 Neon Gobies( 1")
Whitetail Bristletooth Tang(3.5")
Purple Tang(2.5")

Pretty much in the order that they were introduced to the tank. I have had some losses and misnamed juvenile fish that I took out before ending up with this list. I am kinda close to full and still maintaining acceptable nutrients level for SPS health(~.1 Phosphate and <10 Nitrate). I had to get re-home a Blue Throat Trigger when he was eating too much and making the Yellow Belly Regal too thin.

Might re-add a Mandarin when I feel the pod population is sufficient. Had one but the Copperband, Bluestar Leopard Wrasse, Melanarus, Evansi and even the Yellow Belly Regal ate pods too and it whittled away.

Scubabum has an impressive amount of fish in the 525XL. The maxed that I got to was around 18 then stressed between a Potters Angel and my original Whitetail Bristletooth caused an ich outbreak that wiped out all but the wrasses and the Copperband.

Here's a pic with most of them. I think only the Melanarus is not pictured and some of the Neon Gobies, which I don't really count:
