Red sea reefer 525

I've just bought the redsea reefer 525 g2+
But it came with the old ato gravity feed and no new automatic top off system, which all new systems come with
The spec on the old system is different to the new system with the upgrades, that being upgraded on ato,cabinate strength, warranty.
Can anyone tell me when did redsea first upgrade their cabinet along with a few other bits, as I'm sure I've been sold an old system and being told it as all.the upgrade but the ato was left out by mistake
It's all so confusing.

Is the sump ReefMat-ready, ie: the filter sock holder should pull out and the pane lifted up? If so, it's a G2. If not, it's a G1.

The ATO+ system is an auto top off plus temperature sensor and should be packaged in a separate small box in your shipment along with another small box for the leak detector. If these were not included then Red Sea likely forgot to include the ATO + temperature + leak sensor.

For the cabinet, which instruction manual did it come with? Compare it with the official documentation here: https://g1.redseafish.com/support/drawings/products/reefer-525-g2/tabs/files/manuals

Also, did you confirm that the display tank is the new G2 version with the armored seems?

Make sure you have or they will send you the auto leak detector too. If I recall correctly, the ATO + temperature sensor was one small box and the auto leak detector another small box. Those two boxes were wrapped together in plastic which means if they forgot one box they may have forgotten the other as well.

The Manuel is identical except for the very last page I have a breakdown of the control valve for maintenance
The tank also has the armoured braces down the front and bottom, they also sent me the ato reservoir which is not in the new g2, this is where it got confusing

I also got a 525 G2+. It comes with the small glass ATO reservoir which I will not be using.

If RedSea wanted to increase its profitability it should not include the gravity fed ATO attachment in the G2+ shipments. I don't think anyone purchasing the larger models will use the small ATO reservoir so those are pretty useless too.
