Red Sea Reefer 525XL Build

I used 2-part epoxy putty. I also smashed up a rock into smaller pieces to slide under the larger pieces and epoxied them there, to prevent anything from being able to rock at all or tip. Since I plan on having sand sifting critters in the tank, I didn't want sand supporting any weight or providing any balance.
Good idea with the sand supporting weight, there are alot of tanks that have come to unfortunate sudden ends or cracks because of this

Just a note - as someone that has several large tangs in a 525 - you need to provide multiple places for all of those tangs to call "home" for the night, otherwise they will joust and fight it out every night near bedding down time. Tighter arches may help with that, but Id try to give yourself at least twice as many places as you will have tangs.

Otherwise, looks like a good start to another great tank!

In your experience what do they look for in a hiding place?

I am also setting up a 525 xl. I upgraded from a 350. I will be doing some cord management this weekend.
