Red Sea Reefer 625 v3 Sump Question

The manual mentions that the new V3 sump allows adjusting the skimmer section between 6.7-9. with the divider all the way down I am sitting at 9" with my Red Sea skimmer. How can I lower the height so I am sitting at 7" without having to use something to sit the skimmer on?
