so planning on getting a red reefer 625xxl due to the fact that waterbox is out of stock i do not like the plumbing on the red sea nor the fact that the ato resevoir is on top of the sumpso if i get the red sea i would like to change the gate valve to a spears and put 2 manifolds with tubing for my uv n chiller easy fix im not a plumber so not sure if im up to the task or should i just wait for the waterbox its a plug n play system from what ive seen online

IMO since setting up a reef tank is such a long process you may as well wait a few weeks to get what you want so I would wait for the waterbox.

However nether of the systems are plug n play as they don't come with return pumps, heaters, powerheads etc

I meant plug play with the waterbox as far as the plumbing I have all the other necessary equipment my only concern with the waterbox Is some mixed reviews about the stand wanna get it right on the first try

Why don’t u buy three metric to standard unions and hard plumb the 625 ?

dont know what that is sorry im used to regular pvc what sizes do i get as i stated before i wanna add a chiller and a uv with tubing and change the return to a spears gate valve

I agree with above, wait and get what you want. You can work on getting the other equipment while waiting.
