Great idea using the canning jars for dosing containers. I have been thinking about what I could use for a while. Cant believe I didn't think of that as my wife must have 100 empty ones.

They worked ok, but the lids started to rust, so I binned them in the end and now use plastic tuck away containers.

Thanks, the PNG was struggling for a while, but is doing great ever since I set up the auto feeder - I think she just needed more regular feeds.

The fem is solid - always been a real hardy fish.

How high are you running your ecotech mp's? Are you happy with the flow at the end of the tank? How many gallons/hr do you have your return pump pushing?

See MP40 programs below for each one - yeah the flow is great. I’ll probably need a gyre or something at the peninsular end once the coral grow out and block the flow though.

My return is a Reef Octopus Varios 6 which is supposed to push out 6,500lph max flow - I run it flat out. I’ll be fitting a flow meter soon, so I can see what flow I’m getting.
