happy holidays to all can anyone tell me how to adjust the water level in my reefer 750xxl i added the refuguim plate but the water goes over it not through the cutouts i take out water and its good but after awhile my tunze ato fills it back up and the alarm goes off and it drives my wife nuts any help will be appreciated

in the return section i have a 10 gallon resevoir outside the tank

ive always kept the ato in the retrun section with all my tanks just tryin to get this water level low enough that the water passes through the cutout of the refugium plate just dont know how i have my vectra l2 return at 40% if i go higher sand will blow all over the place

Turn your pump down till your cut outs work instead of adding to much overflow where they can not handle the water volume... See if that will work for you...

open up the gate valve initially, put in as much flow as you want with the return, then slowly close it until the water level in the column is correct. (Like 1/2” below the cup rim).

I opened up the gate valve increased the flow on the return pump water level is still above the refugium plate should I remove some water turned off the ato for now
