I'm planning to order a Red Sea Reefer 450 soon, but wanted to see if any other companies out there made something similar in looks, you know, clean, almost ready to go equipment wise, RR, etc... I've seen the IM series SR-80/120 and am not a fan. Anything else?

Just saw the Artisan 150, I like that it comes with a skimmer, return pump, and 55g sump, and refugium light.

I'd go with the red sea, cad lights look nice but a lot of not so great things about customer service would make me go elsewhere

Agreed on the cacdlights thing, I bought an 8g (I know, totally different size) from them and had nothing but bad customer service when they sent me the wrong thing. The customer service rep there didn't even know what was included in the tank, and couldn't provide me with basic details on the light. Im leaning more and more towards red sea, its even the most reasonable cost wise.

Even if I were to get a new tank/stand standard style from glass cages or whatever, the price would be similar or more expensive. And thats without a sump, or ATO (Which the read sea comes with). Could always buy used but I've done enough of that.

Get the reefer bud!!! I also had an elos tank but it was darn too expensive. Not bashing on cadlights as i never owned anything from them but according to everyone i see trying to attempt to contact costumer service made me glad i didnt purchase their tanks. Even though the artisan series are nice + their sumps are a nice size. IM tanks are nice also but for the price nd quality on the reefer is 100× worth its weight in gold

Elos is just completely out of my price range lol. Never even considered them. Im thinking red sea is gonna win. But I will keep looking. Only thing that was weird with the red sea, their site says 92g tank size for the 450, but the dimensions add up to 112g (without sump).

Take an inch and a half off the top (rimless water line) i had people say the same to me lolol

Just got mine. The quality of all the components and the tank appear to be top notch. It sits dry so I don't have much more to add..

looking at buying the reefer350 but with the white stand anybody have one of these and how do they like it and also what pump did you use for it and skimmer thanks

How does SCA Stack up to red sea? They have a very nice sale going on right now.

If you read online Cad-Lights has some pretty awful reviews and mediocre communication. I would go red sea... Hard to beat!

Yep, I'll be placing my order for the reefer 450 tomorrow. Would have been today if I didn't get off work so late.

Good to know, cause I ordered my 450 earlier haha.
