Red sea reefer custom stand

Hey all.Was just wondering if anyone when has ever built a custom stand for there red sea reefer tank.Love mine but stand is liking room for equipment.I'm moving tank to new house and would love to built my own stand.Just wondering if there was reason not to.Thanks [emoji106][emoji106]

Different stand typically voids warranty. Why not consider an external, perhaps in the garage, sump? Would let you use the entire stand for storage.

Hi there,

I am considering doing the same thing for my reefer 525 xl.

I recently spoke to a local aquarium manufacturer who said that they can make a very nice custom stand (floating edge, Alder wood, drawers, no center wall, etc..) for around $1,500. I would like to price check with a local carpenter before making any decisions on my tank.

What is causing you to want to modify your stand?
