I've had this air bubble trapped in the glue for a long time now, can remember if it was there on day one or not. I kind of just ignored it but after seeing all the problems with the 750xxl I look at it today and it looks like it's gotten bigger, maybe quarter inch going upwards. As you can tell by the pictures where the bubble is and there seems to be no seperation from the side view it looks pretty flush all the way down. I'm thinking I should contact red sea, and see what they say. I may lower my wavemakers they get going pretty good especially during nutrient transport mode.

I would be concerned but as long as you are the original owner and registered it they might replace it for you given the history lately. What size is it?

450, I'm the original owner it's not that old 2 years or so. I got one of the last ones according to my lfs, because they discontinued it for the 425xl and I didn't want the 425.

I had the same issue except my silicone was failing above where the 2 doors open in the middle of the tank, similar to where a lot of the 750s and other tanks fail. This is the longest span of the tank without support from the stand. I contacted RedSea and they told me it was a year out of warranty and they would not replace, they did offer a discount around 20 percent off a new redsea setup lol. I told them I expected this setup to last 10-20 years like most aquariums on the market. The 450s are discontinued, prob because a lot of failures lol, so if you get a replacement let us know.

I’ll email them, tbh I don’t want to replace it the amount of time and work that would take. Not to mention trying to rebuild my aquascape. Im wondering if I can add some support to it to relieve pressure off that spot. I don’t thinks it near as serious as a air bubble that is on the bottom.

Didn’t they extend the warranty of all of their tanks after the seam fiasco?

Yikes. I’d be concerned for sure. The work transferring over is much easier than repairing water damage. Red Sea has been having a lot of problems with their tanks failing. My lfs stopped carrying them because they had too many complaints about the tanks leaking. They actually had one on the floor that’s overflow box cracked and spilled water all over the store. If the send a replacement, I’d change it out. If not, I’d sell it and buy a waterbox.

I've seen the redseas fail at the same spot as yours but the bottom is also the other spot where it happens. the stress has already been applied and yours is starting to fail so no fix/bandaid at this point. If you keep that tank setup it will continue to seperate and fail, so you can either replace it now with a more reliable brand or wait till it fails and damage your house and risk killing your fish/corals.
