Hi all! - If anyone managed to get his / her hands on the new RSR G2 425 - Could you be ever so kind to take me the measurements of the dry cabinet as on the Readsea website they are contradicting dimensions!

Yeah but one is saying 56cm width and the other is saying 60 and this is on the same website...

I guarantee you that the Red Sea tanks all sit flush on the stands - so you don't have to worry about it hanging off the front or back. I think "C" is the inside dimensions of the stand and that it's probably a misprint in the description. That or someone transposed the inside with the outside dimensions. Sorry, this is my best guess at this point.

Disclaimer: I have a Red Sea 750XXL and the sides, front and back are all flush with the stand.

Yeah I think there is a mistake.. Yep they are flush.. My point here is that the tank is not here yet and I preparing the wall plugs so I need to cut in the wall and I need to have them in the centre of the empty part of the dry cabinet so I need to have the correct dimensions

Then you only need the length - and that's correct (as I indicated above). So "A" plus 4cm takes you to the inside left of "B". Note that there are two rear panels on the back of "A" and only a partial panel on the lower portion of "B" (I'm not in front of the tank or I could tell you approximately how high it is from the floor, but suffice to say if you go with standard outlet height for plugs you'll be fine).

Thanks so basically starting from 78cm from the left I should be in the empty hole.. Just need to or try to get it in the center now :)

So I just got a reply from Redsea which confused me some more.. All I need is to know the center of the empty part like this:

Redsea reply:

Once the cabinet is assembled the 'empty hole' in the back of the dry section of the cabinet is approximately 44 cm high (from the top of B3 and the bottom of B2). The visible sections of both panels B2 and B3 within the dry section of the assembled cabinet each have an approximate height of 16cm. The height of the dry section of the assembled cabinet minus the cabinet top header, panel E is therefore approximately 76cm.
The height between the bottom of the cabinet and the top header (Panel E) is 70cm.
