Hi all
The valve on my Red Sea reefer has become impossible to balance and is driving me insane. Level in overflow is either too high and pouring down emergency drain or too low and setting off my ato alarm. Worked well for a year but now it’s impossible to find that no noise sweet spot. Despite half a mm adjustments, valve cleaned, dc pump cleaned and adjusted (Max 4000 lph, powerheads switched off, leaving 20 mins between valve adjustments etc etc I desperately want to rip it out and install a gate valve. Seen loads of threads with instructions for reefer 170 valve replacement but none for reefer nano. Can it be done?! Would love to know if anyone has done it as I’m just about ready to close my tank down if there is no solution to the continual battle. Such a shame because otherwise I love this tank! Thanks
