Following, I'm considering the Nano or 170.

I like your aquascape + the use of the spoiler tag! I love how quiet the overflow is in the reefer tank, curious how much noise your skimmer + fan lights + pumps add. I'm looking for a super quiet setup myself.

Thanks! The scape ended up being way too wide so I epoxyed the two sides on top of each other which actually looks better in the cube anyway. I don't have the cabinet door on or the skimmer running, but the draining's currently pretty loud. I'm sure the cabinet door will buffer a lot of that sound though. Running a lot of filter floss to help clear up the sandstorm. I'll update again as soon as it's cleared.

One small difference with the 170 that'd be really nice is the extra few inches it has next to the sump.

Looking good. I'm going to be setting up a Reefer Nano soon.

The drain should be silent. It takes a little fiddling with the valve, but the drain on my Reefer 350 is dead silent. The only time I hear any water is when the sock overflows or water goes down the emergency drain.

Awesome aquascape! What are your coral stocking plans?

@dragon99 I'll definitely post in the Reefer Club once the dust settles.

@Rex My 13.5 that I'm upgrading from is mostly LPS/softies. I think I'll stock it pretty euphyllia heavy. Maybe a poci colony and some monti caps eventually.

@jefra any updates? I'm getting closer to ordering a Nano, wondering if I should upgrade the sump.

@MrMichael

Sadly will be moving to Florida in a few weeks and am prepping the system for sale. The sump is more than adequate, I just wish it was taller and allowed for more space in the cabinet. Current livestock is a pair of ocellaris clowns, a blue reef chromis, and a male mandarin. Have a little Euphyllia area - a green fluorescence infected hammer coral, another hammer, and a pink tipped frogspawn. Duncans, blue shrooms and zoas scattered throughout.

Still absolutely in love with the system, it's such high quality and look forward to getting another in a year or two.
