I've decided to upgrade my aquarium but can't for the life of me choose between the two. Anyone have some pros or cons? Reasons why you chose one over the other? Any answers or help is much appreciated !

Please go with the redsea tank, ive never owned a cadlights but have had a friends bottom pane blow out recently electrocuting almost everyone in their house. Theres not one good review on a cadlights tank, and if it is, the tank would be less then a year old. Theres a whole thread on the reefer series, along with my buildthread. You will be so satisfied with red sea, just make sure you keep your reciept lol

I have a Cadlight, the plumbing is not in an American size so I can't rework the poor plumbing, Also I had an edge chip the first day I got it and Cadlight refused to do anything about it. Horrible customer service!

RedSea!

I guess I'm an exception to CadLights. I have a 70G Artisan II and I love it. It's been up for 7 mths and haven't had any issues with it. It was a pain to work around the metric plumbing but got through it. Quality of tank and stand is very good. You just have to learn to work things out on your own as their cs is not great.

Had a 100g cadlights artisin II for almost 2 years, go with the Red Sea. Crap Chinese plumbing, crap skimmer and return pumps. Cheap Chinese everything. The glass is not low iron, it's as green as a pane glass from ace hardware. Spend your hard earned cash on a tank that deserves it.

Customer service is also atrocious.
