Red Sea Reefer plumbing question

The tank will be the xl 525. There is a utility room right behind the tank and I'd like to use an external skimmer and UV filter in that room.

My question is will there be enough room to run additional plumbing out of the same cut out that the factory plumbing uses.

Depends on the size of hose/piping you use. I can look at mine once I get home

I'd like to use 4, 1-1/2" pipes. Can I modify the cut out to make it larger or would that ruin the stand?
