Hi, can someone clarify what Red Sea mean when they describe their sumps as refugium ready?

Do I just need to add a light and some cheato & away I go or is it more complex than that?

Pretty much that. The sumps have a section divided specifically to be a fuge. Very simple to set up.

Depends which model you get. The best is to go to Red Sea website and confirm which model you are looking for.

On my V3 sump it's the one front left next to the return chamber

On my V3 sump it is the one front right next to filter socks area, but I switched it with the skimmer section. So I am using skimmer section for refugium and refugium section for skimmer.

See it is different and it is better to go to Red Sea website.
