Hey everyone,

Just set up a new Reefer Nano and ran into a problem. I got cocky and thought I could set the tank up without any instructions and accidentally threaded the two drain pipes into the wrong bulkheads of the tank. While screwing them in, I heard a click and it seems that they are locked into the bulkheads. I don't want to forcibly remove them, as I don't want to break anything. Has anyone had experience removing the plumbing on the reefer? If so, how do I remove the drainage pipes without damaging the bulkheads?

Unfortunately I have no experience with the red sea reefer systems, although I one day hope to ;)
I'll tag the rest of #reefsquad and see if any of them have any experience with them and can get you sorted out :)

Let me preface my comments by stating that I do not know Red Sea tanks/bulkheads specifically.

I have never heard of a bulkhead that "clicks in." I'd be more concerned that the click you heard might have been the bulkhead cracking. I'd definitely remove the pipes (assuming threaded), and the bulkheads and inspect very carefully. When assembling plastic threaded pipe I'd recommend using a thread compound specific for plastic (PVC), and not over-tighten.
