I have been having issues with weir level on my red sea reefer 170, it keeps fluctuating from too high to too low even after I adjust it and it's fine for a few days, it will just randomly go too high or too low. I have had this problem for a while now. I run a sicce syncra silent 3.0 set full power which is rated 714 gph although it's moving water about 5 feet up. Any ideas??

I think the adjustment either starts to clog a bit then cleans itself or the pumps vary a bit from voltage fluctuations.
I slipped a piece of 1 inch silicone tubing over the emergency overflow to raise it about and inch. This lets the water level run a bit higher and makes the adjustment range greater.
It also stopped the sloshing over the overflow from wave pumps when the water level is higher in the chamber.

It's so annoying, going to clean the valve today as I've never done it (got tank 7 months ago. It is consistently getting worse
