Im interested in the reefer. Can anyone give me feedback if their worth it. Im looking at the NEW Red Sea REEFER™ XL Systems
Coming Soon To a Dealer Near You!

I love my reefer 170, downgraded from a bigger tank. It's very sleek and easy to plumb. Only thing I don't like is the water top off, which is easy enough to replace.

I got that email today. I dont know of anyone that isnt satisfied with their Red Sea tanks. They are on the expensive side though. There are cheaper products out there that are just as nice.

anyone know the price for the XL series. How the price compares to Reef Savy tank or other highend system like elos, etc.

I feel the sump is in the small side?

Thanks

Reef builders.com says the Reefer 425XL has a starting price of $1949 but no price on the 525XL as yet.

that's not too bad compared to the 450. I like the wider xl size, for me, ideal seems 4' width and depth about 20-24"

No it isn't. I spoke to Redsea a few weeks ago and asked if they were planning on doing bigger tanks than the 450 and said yes. I was hoping they would have made it 60x24x24.

I have a dealer that said he would sell me a red sea 525xl for 2100. He said he is taking a bit of a hit on the tank in the hopes that I will purchase all my equipment from him. He also said he could have it delivered to his store in 3 days.
