Quick question...

Might pick up a used 450 but has white stand and I definitely prefer the black stand.

I don't think you can paint it, correct? could you wrap it with vinyl or some other option?

I don't know why you couldn't scuff it down and paint it. It seems like just a hard plastic shell coating the wood. I say this because I have drilled into mine to mount various accessories.

Yep, you should be able to paint it without any issues.

I've seen some people wrap their tanks and they look great.
