I am building a new cabinet for my gear and I want to leave space for a Reefwave 25 or 45 controller but I can't find the dimensions anywhere. Still saving up for it. I tried posting in the Red Sea forum but haven't gotten any response. In the videos I watched they look pretty big.

Bump

Send an email to Red Sea? Or better yet, they have a sponsor forum here at R2R. ask your question there.

Thanks Ron, I did ask the question in the Red Sea forum but no response. I think I figured it out though. I scaled the controller to the pump itself which is 9". I figured it is 5.25" x 3.375”. I would be curious still if someone actually has one to see how close I am. Merry Christmas

Perfect thank you. Are you happy with it? I have an 80 gallon tank. Thinking about getting a Reefwave 25.

I have the ReefWave 45 in a 200 gallon that is 6ft long with some Vortechs mixed in. I'm very happy with it, covers my dead spots, and I only run it around 50%. Easy to clean too.

I have a Reefwave 25 in my 60 gallon and I really like it. It is very quiet. It moves a lot of water and it's pretty simple to use.

The exact measurements are: 4 11/16”long by 3 ⅛ wide. Leave enough room for the pig tail wires, make it 6” wide instead of 3 ⅛”. Hope this helps . Merry Christmas!

I have two 25's on a 50 gallon pentagon. Raven has provided the correct info for the control box and I second his recommendation to leave room for the control and power cords coming from the bottom of the control box. I'm very pleased with these pumps. I have one mounted at the top and another mounted vertically on the opposite side. They replaced a couple of MP-10 which are in my opinion not worth the money. All three of my wetsides have suffered from ceramic shaft cracking within 3 months of operation.

In my case , the RW's are dead quiet but I'm running them on low. They can produce a lot of flow and they are easy to clean. I have each side of the individual pumps operating in different directions.
