What do you do with your empty Res Sea Reef salt buckets? I am getting a collection of buckets and I am wondering about how to recycle them or reuse them.

I store my pellets for my smoker in them. Keeps them nice and dry.

I do this exact thing with mine, with the exception they are IO buckets. 40# bagof smoker pellets fit's in a 5G bucket perfectly.

I use them as used Sock Storage, sometimes water buckets or things around the garage.

Use them for water changes, storing salt water, moving fresh and salt water especially when selling at swaps, soaking equipment in acid solutions, holding several months worth of mixed Alk and Cal solution and household duties (just make sure they are marked HOME/REEF)
