hi every body just wondering about the pro and cons on red sea salt

Good stuff if have a lot of coral consuming alk, Ca. If you have a newer system you might want to use the regular salt and switch up when there are more corals in the tank

For the past 2 years it’s all I use. The blue bucket matches my parameters perfectly.

I guess the only benefit I see over some other salts is that is seems to leave less brown residue in my brutes than some of the others (like IO). Other than that, just buy the salt that mixes closes to the parameters you are trying to keep I use Red Sea Blue because the ALK mixes lower, around 8.4.
