Red Sea Skimmer slimming light

Hi - I have a Red Sea 300 and it seems to only skim light. I can’t get the dark skimmate I got with my old RO skimmer. Granted this is on a pretty new tank. Anyone else using the RS skimmer who could chime in with their experiences? Thanks!

Same problem here. I moved the drain line valve to the air intake tube. Reduced the airflow about 15% and now I get a good dark skim. Before the bubbles where to big at the top and could only achieve a very wet skim
