Red Sea Skimmer Vs Nyos

Looking to see if anyone has had any experience with the new Red Sea skimmers. I currently have a Nyos 120 on my Reefer 250 and I like it. However I am starting a new peninsula build and trying to decide if I want to switch it up and try the Red Sea. Any experiences or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I have their RSK-300 sitting in a box in my condo and my LFS will install it when they come for my next water change.

Running NYOs myself but Redsea looks like a well thought out skimmer.

I’ve been using the NYOS Quantum 160 for nearly 2 years, it’s silent easy to use and I would buy another without hesitation

This replaced the Red Sea C Skim which was rubbish. The new ones are very new so only time will tell but I do know it doesn’t fit we’re it should in the S Series without sump modifications from another forum, which is bizarre

Having just brought a second hand Nyos 120 I would by Nyos every time now. When people say they are efficient and quiet, they are not kidding are they! Amazing bit of kit so personally I would go with something tried and tested.
