So I'm working on my Red Sea reefer 250 build. All my parts and equipment have been ordered, and I have my basic build planning and thoughts outlined. I was thinking of popping for a larger sump like the Crystal Reef Aquatics Stealth 30" vs using the stock sump red sea provides. Thoughts? Insight? Also, is there a marked to sell of the brand new glass sump and ato reservoir?

Is there any reason why you would need the other sump? I would think you could spend that money on something that you don't have / need to get.

Few reasons. Money isn't an issue. Larger volume (almost double), larger fuge, more room for my skimmer and return pump, probe holders and actual fit of my 4" klir. Stealth sump is almost 6" longer and 1" taller.

Plus the name alone is enough as a selling point. I’d even buy it if I didn’t have a sump already.

I assume you know they are out of business...
