Hey R2R! Who out there is running a Red Sea sump? If so how are you utilizing it? What chamber for what and what add ons and upgrades are you using ?

Bump. I'm looking to get a red sea reefer 250 or 350 so I'm curious as well. Also looking at waterbox but I like the red sea sump deaigns

I’ve got a Red Sea 250 and it AWSOME! Totally different experience having a turn key system. I love mine, just got done cycling mine.

No I believe the 350 and above come with the divider in between.

Very nice, how do you like the eco marine wave maker? That’s kinda the way I’m thinking of going I dig how all but the rotating mass is outside the tankWhat size are you running?

It’s a 10, WPQ I think. I run it reefcrest mode, and the max is about 50%. It’s plenty of movement for this size tank

Nice I’ve got a RSR 250 day hunk it would handle the jump?

Here's my 350 sump. I 3D printed some braces to hold a plate of glass to create the refugium. Not the cleanest sump area but she's got it where it counts!

Looks good! The 3D printer must be nice for the hobby and as long as it works the beauty contest is in the top tank not the bottom one

I think it would work well, some run the next size up, but I think you lose too much space in the tank.

It’s what I would use. In my tank now, if I crank it up to 80-90% it sucks the sand off the bottom!

That’s kinda what I was thinking if you are only running at 50% it would be plenty for me cranked up.

Here is mine. Pretty simple with filter sock, bag of carbon, live rock with Xenia, skimmer, bio blocks, and return pump

Excellent Coralline algae growth, how long has it been setup? What kind of light is that over the sump?
