Red Sea Test kits Expiration

Would using Red sea test kits on the month of expire cause the test to be inaccurate?

For example when finishing up my water testing last night i notice that my Ca, Mg, and Alk expiration date is 8/19.

My Results were a bit off then normal.

I am wondering if the test are consider as "expired", and giving false readings?

Unfortunately i do not have any other test within expiration to confirm results, as i was unaware these were expiring.

Thoughts ?

A month past its expiration date? You'll be fine.

I've used RedSea a YEAR past the Exp-Date.

Here how you can tell if the test is past its usefulness: test two sources of SW; tank water and newly mixed SW. If the the results are very close then the test solution has fouled.

Bad testing solutions seem to get 'stuck' on a test result # no matter what source water you use

I thought about doing this last night but was getting late for a Sunday night and didn't have any saltwater mixed up.

I will give this a try and post the results.
