Red Sea test kits?

I've been using the Red Sea Alk test kit for a while now, and was just about to restock some other kits. I like to keep 2 versions of each test kit on hand, just to be able to check accuracy. I believe I read somewhere that one of the Red Sea test kit's was pretty inaccurate though, and can't remember which. Does anyone know anything about this, or have you exeprience this?

I think it was their cal. test,but I think new test kits are fine.

Ok. So it was just like a bad batch or something?

I trust there cal and alk but the mag I always seem to get a bad batch and it gets contaminated to easy so I would say don't get the mag. I use elos and Salifert

Mag testing seems to run a bit higher in my experience.

They did have a few batches that made the calcium test much higher then what it was. After I purchased a new refill everything was back to normal.

I had some accuracy issues with the Red Sea tests (Cal) switched to Salifert. Never looked back
