When doing a test with red sea test kits, no matter if mag, cal, or alk, how do you read the results?

You start with 1ml, then go about your test. It ends at .6ml. The test says "titrant used", so does one read the .6ml for the results or the .4ml line? There is a big difference between the two.

It's the amount of titrant used, so it's 1 - number on the syringe. So if you have the syringe at 0.6, it's 1 - 0.6 = 0.4. You have used 0.4 of the titrant and that is the number you look up on the back of the card.

Well then that sucks. No wonder I am having issues. Everything I am testing for seems to be low. I will retest now.

Thanks
