I have used RedSea Coral Pro for over three years and have never had an issue it. All my corals both SPS and LPS seem to love it. Not sure if I'm over mixing or if it's precipitating out but I have never seen the ALK go over 10dkh in my display. I'll test the actual batch tomorrow i have been doing smaller more frequent changes that my corals seem to really like.

I use a mix of Red Sea Coral Pro and Instant Ocean Reef Crystals. My mix is 1 part RS to 2 parts IO.

I found the RS dkh was too high but I liked it otherwise. In particular, I like how quickly it mixes up so if I need a shot of salt between water changes, I go to the RS.

I wonder how man people have actually tried multiple types of salt for multiple months...

I use basic IO. I use a CaRx so what's not there is added by me. For the cost you cant beat it. I try to keep my alk low so I cant use any 'reef' salts.

Good question.
I've been using IO for 11 years. I did switch to Reef Crystals for a year but couldnt tell the difference so I switched back to plain old Instant Ocean. Regular Water changes and a Calcium reactor is all I need to grow SPS like weeds.

Water change water 1.025 kh11.8 tested with salifert test kit

I have been using instant ocean crystals then decided to switch over to red sea pro and I am very happy with my switch my parameters are much more stable now
