At my LFS they have some tanks they have red sea and neptunian cube tanks for sale and they look exactly the same. they come with the same things too and the price is relatively the same. is there one that is “better” or will last longer? Anyone with either brand pls tell me about your tank to help me choose between.

Is Neptunian Aquariums exclusive to AU? Have not heard of them here in the US, unless they’re being sold under a different brand. Waterbox?

i live in canada but have only seen one store carry them

They are being sold in Houston Texas. They are very nice tanks with an awesome stand and sump. The difference on the K90 is about $600 from the comparable reefer 250... however, they are larger volume too. I am on the fence myself between the Neptunian cube k90 and the reefer 250. The stated volume is 100 gallons vs 65 of the reefer 250. They have "white glass" seems to be very nice in person. Craftmanship looks good. I just wish there was more info on these tanks from people like Reef Nerd ("Marcus") who has the K90. You can check out his youtube channel ReefNerd.

I just installed a Neptunian Cube S120 on the weekend. Tank I had before was Redsea Reefer 450.
Could not be happier ... great quality and main reason I decided on Neptunian was build. I had damage on my redsea starting to show on base of cabinet. There is no chance of this happening on the Neptunian.
Other reason is the distributor in AU.
Every email with a question was answered... unbelievable service.
Build was Neptunian S120, maxspect XF330 x 2, octo vario s 6 return dc pump, octo regal 150-s, octo light reactor 150, maxspect recurve 120,
Wish I had done it all earlier as I too was sitting on fence of another Redsea or waterbox for some time.

You mentioned that the damage you had in the Red Sea is impossible with the neptunium. Would you please elaborate?

I have the p150 neptunian cube. The stand frame is an aluminum alloy and the panels are pvc wrapped in acrylic. There isnt any particle board to swell. The hardware is all stainless

I’m looking at getting a neptunian as well but it’s so hard to find information on them. Their site is all design images and they don’t have actual photos. I also can’t find a link for their catalog only the low quality screenshots they have on their site. The lack of information makes me weary but then again the tanks look incredible.

Neptunian stand getting rusty very fast as well there is issues with return valves etc, silicon issue etc..
