The way I read test kits the Salifert Kh/Alk reads over 1dkh higher than the Red Sea test kit.

Red Sea 7.3 dkh
Salifert 8.6 dkh

I think the Salifert test is easier to read but I may have been running pretty low alk.

Both values are fine as long as kept stable.

Could be a testing error. Is it always off by that much?

Could be bad reagents in one or the other if you are sure you are reading both correctly. On salifert the test ends when the color changes to “lavender.”

There could always be a chance that I'm going too far with my titration.
