red sea wavemaster pro and koralias?

i just got a red sea wavemaster thinking i would use it with the koralias. however it makes the koralias clank loudly when turning back on each time. i know there is supposedly a mod out there to make them not clank. does anyone know how to do this?????

Not a good idea I've heard many stories where turning Koralia's on and off repeatedly kills them. One day they just won't turn back on..

unfort. after i bought it i heard that this might be a problem..... ugh !

i wonder if doing the mod if it helps them to not quit working. or if its just the fact of them turning on and off so much that they quit working.... ???

they work with the seio controller, you might want to see if someone out there will trade for your wavemaster.

I did the mod with a small piece of airline tubing just below the prop,and on the shaft. Works awesome and no clanking

You may have to trim to find the sweet spot though... Too much and it'll bind... Too little and the clank'll still be there.

Oh, also... They will burn out from turning off and back on (Gen 1), that is after they get stuck going in reverse
