hi all my tank is getting over taken by red slime no matter what I do.
I've always done a weekly water change as it only a 52ltr tank, well 47ltr with everything in it. I do a 5ltr change. Now all of a sudden this red slime has appeared, I've been changing 20ltrs because I'm vacuum it out the tank and treating it with vibrant but it still comes back. Any advice on how to get rid please.

Just use some chemiclean after you have manually removed as much as possible. Out of curiosity, what is your nitrate and phosphate at.

I thought it was just me, but ever since using Vibrant I to have had a never ending battle with cyano. I’m starting to believe there’s a correlation between the two.

Vibrant can strip nitrate and phosphate out. Cyano gets its nitrogen from the atmosphere and having 0 nitrate in the tank just makes less competition for cyano

I ran into the same exact issue. Two years with no cyano and now it popped up after Vibrant.
