Any Ideas on the best way to get rid of Red Slime Algae? Its seemed to have taken over the center rock in my tank, its on almost every rock but the worse part is right in the center. I am thinking I need to put in another power head to increase the water flow in the center of the tank based on what i have read so far, but I wanted opinions here, to see if there was something else I should do. Its a 55 Gallon with 15 Gallon sump.

actually the best thing would be to get the corraline algae to spread to that rock.

lower lightng will help.

you could also suspend feeding and kill the lights and the red algae will die off. the resume with lower lighting and feeding so it stays away.
