Should i maybe invest in another powerhead for the other side of the tank? I only have one in there right now...i just dont want too much current for my anemone
yes, you want to add another powerhead. Your anemone should be fine, they do like some water movement. You can try to remove a lot of it manually with a net or something similar.
As stated Increase flow, manually remove as much as you can. Also what type of lighting are you using? You also need to step up your water changes and be careful and not overfeed your tank. Have you tested for nitrates and phosphates? Are you running a skimmer?
No skimmer nitrates and phosphates are good i do a 15 gallon water change biweekly its a coralife light setup with an ultra sun and ocean sun bulbs...im getting things together so i can change to a sump to make things a bit easier but my water parameters were off about a week ago but ive since done a water change and im sure they were off because the tank and all inhabitants had about a 20 mile move the week before because of us moving from an apartment into a house
How long has it been since you changed bulbs? Also test results can be misleading do to the algae is consuming the phosphate. Water changes, manually removing and be very careful and don't overfeed. This is a bacteria and it takes time and patience to rid of it. But you have to find the source .
