I have a 38 gallon reef and red slime is spreading! Im running Bulk reef supply carbon and GFO. My phosphates are 0 and my nitrate is at 0.3. I recently added some bio pellets to my reactor and I'm running my skimmer a little more wet. Thanks all!

I'm guessing the tank is fairly new? Few months into it? Its normal. What I do is siphon out as much as possible with a water change. Turn the lights out for a day or 2(turn on to feed fish/coral). I don't know if this helps but it seems to for me. Add Seachem's "Stability" for a couple days and the red slime should die off. Works for me all the time.

Thanks Sobo's Reef, my tank is about a little more than a year old. I also got some hair algae too. I'm not dosing any additives and I'm feeding the fish a little bit. I'll check out that stability stuff too!
