Yesterday I noticed some red slime in me tank on several frags. I had to go to work overnight so I figured I would do a water change this morning. I also was planning on removing frags and swishing them around in the old tank water. When I got home and the lights turned on the red slime was go so I did water change anyway. The lights have now been on for 2 hours and the red slime is now back. I got out the phosphate reactor that came with my tank and am going to get some Phosgaurd for it as soon as the LFS opens. Is there anything else I should do to get rid of the red slime? Salinity .024 - Nitrate 5 - Nitrite 0 - Amonnia 0 - PH 8.2 - dkh 9 - cal 360 (cal added not retested yet) - phos about.25

You ron the right track. A Lights out period of several days will also accomplish this, and won't harm the corals. But adding the Reactor will assure it does not return.
