I've been battling Cyano off and on for 2 years now. Nutrient reduction and more flow seem to be your best options. I used an ATS for a while and had the most luck with it for keeping the cyano off my rock and sand bed.
It's a 55gal fowlr and I've been scrubbing the rock off with a brush vacuuming the bottom and changing 20 gal every other week and it's more under control but can't get rid of it.. I've been reading about red slime stain r

If it is lime chemiclean, it kills bacteria. I am not familiar with this product though if it is antibiotic in nature you will have to make the decision if it is something you want in your tank. Some people swear by it, others won't use it. I am in the latter category.
