Red Spot on Goby in QT

I have a Diamond Goby in QT for the last week and just noticed a red spot on his face. Appears to be acting fine otherwise and no other fish showing any signs of illness. I am also running prophylactic copper treatment currently as there is a Tang in there with him. Does this look like some kind of bacterial infection? I have some kanaplex and metroplex on hand if needed. Sorry for the blurriness kind of hard to focus. Thanks for any input.

It kind of does, to me ... or possibly an injury.

Given the experience I had the last times I encountered bacteria, I'd probably treat.

Thanks. Haven't noticed any aggression or fighting from tankmates. Will go ahead and treat with some kanaplex.

Best bet for a full wide-spectrum approach (if you can get hold of 'em all!) is what's sometimes referred to as the "trifecta" - Kanaplex, Metroplex and Furan-2 - for a ten-day minimum. (Antibiotics work slowly on marine fish.)

+1 with Bruce I would treat. Could be an injury from trying to hide/move as well.
