Red spots on curing live rock

Is this a hitchhiker or just part of the rock. It’s been curing for just over 5 weeks with no light. Just salt water. Never did bleach or acid wash. Thanks in advance for any advice.
It is on a few other pieces just not as distinct. And this is dry pukani .

Don't worry :) Bits of red coralline algae. My rock is full of those
