Amazing to me that in this day and age we still have no idea what this amazing creature likes to eat. I would love to hear anyones do's and don'ts or any insight on being able to keep this star happy. Read many blogs on how this impossible it is to keep this creature alive long term in a tank.

Hopefully others can chime in that had luck with any of the sea stars.....the longest I had a Red Fromia was a year. I tried a Red Fromia, a blue linkiea, and a tiled sea star.....non other than the Red Fromia lived longer than a month or two. That was several years ago.....I haven't tried again. IMO sea stars are one of the species in this hobby that is better left in the ocean.
