Red taking over

Hi, not my tank asking for a friend who asked me if I could make a post.

What is this red thing all over the tank. It is everywhere including glass. It can be roped off and can be blown away with a pipet. It rips off in almost like a corse powder. I think it may be cyano but, I am not sure.
I will ask about parameters and post as soon as I can.

Can cyano break off in a corse powder I have a small bit of cyano and it brakes off in a few sheets.

Dont know. It usually comes off in pieces and floats around the tank.

I’ll see if I can post a video of it breaking off tomorrow

Also I forgot to add to the first post there is another tank connected to the same system and is has little to none of the red things.
