So not quite sure about this stuff... It is quickly growing and not sure what it is exactly or what would eat it / hinder growth?
Please help with ID and ideas on hindering it :)

It is in two seperate spots, if I don't stop it now, I have a feeling it will take over..

Looks like cyno which is a bacteria ,not good. Most causes are from too many nutrients in water. Try increasing circulation ,vacumn as much as you can and make sure you are not overfeeding coral foods and fish foods and it will go away.

Yup, looks like Turf Alagae.
Peroxide dipping the rocks I presume?

Holy smokes :(
Is that what you have read/done that worked?
If possible, I would like to leave them in place, but not sure what I can do within the tank to rid it.

Hmm. Well there are Turbo Snails that will mow it down, but not rid the tank of it, and then the use of Tuxedo Urchins that will take care of it.

So are you thinking they will be sufficient?
What does a peroxide dip consist of?
Seriously thinking of that route to prevent anymore spread :(

Sorry. But there is the snail and urchin way first, if its an option for you.
