I bought an Acan at a frag swap today and when I was dipping the coral I noticed these red branches/twigs at the base of the Acan that I have not seen before. They do not move and are very red. Dipping the coral, it was pretty clean. Any Idea as to what these may be? Also, I noticed a white calcium build up in-between the red twigs that is not super glue.
