Red Worm I.D. no spaghetti like tendrils

I have had this tank for a few years and still get surprised every so often. Ignore the aiptasia in the background... oh, and the algae on the glass.
This is a new worm for me. It doesn't have spaghetti-like tendrils and I can't find anything else like it in the forums. Anyone know what this is? It is red and about a 1/2 inch long. There are other smaller ones around as well... in fact, I'm seeing some in my powerheads. Ugh!

looks like a Tubifex to me, not sure though they are often used as food for fish and they are known to be found in fresh water. my closest guess would be a spaghetti worm.

I bet this worm and a new algae outbreak all tie back to a recent increase in my nitrates and phosphates after I shut down my bioreactor. I was supposed to turn it off for a 1/2 hour, forgot about it, and checked on it several weeks later. If you have ever smelled your protein skimmer, the stagnant water in the bioreactor is 1000 times worse. I am soaking it in a bleach solution for the 3rd time and still can't get the stink out!
